Members of all GTCCC-affiliated clubs are invited to participate in the GTCCC Interclub Competition 2012.

Please submit your entries via your club's GTCCC rep according to their instructions.

The GTCCC Interclub Competition 2012 has four (4) categories. The total number of entries is 2 per category for a total of 8 images, regardless of the number of clubs the entrant competes in.

Digital Nature Projection

  1. The subject matter for this category is Nature. Nature Photography depicts Nature subjects, such as animals, birds, plants, geology and phenomena not produced by man. Evidence of the "hand of man" and man's specialized environment is to be avoided. The accurate record of the subject is the primary objective. Photographs of cultivated plants, domesticated and/or obviously controlled specimens, mounted specimens and museum groups are ineligible. Zoo and game farm specimens, butterfly conservatory specimens etc. are acceptable if there is no visible evidence of the hand of man in the photograph.
  2. A maximum of two entries per entrant is allowed in this category.

Digital Pictorial Projection

  1. There is no subject/context limitation but an image that qualifies as "Nature" must be entered in the Digital Nature Projection category. Pictorial Images may be digitally altered, however all digital manipulation must be done by the entrant.
  2. A maximum of two entries per entrant is allowed in this category.

Colour Prints

  1. There is no subject/context limitation. Both entrant-made and commercially-made prints are eligible. However, all digital manipulation must be done by the entrant.
  2. A maximum of two entries per entrant is allowed in this category.

Monochrome Prints

  1. There is no subject/context limitation. Prints may be toned, hand tinted, or coloured, but with only a single colour. A monochrome print is defined as having no more than one colour, but it may be any single colour. Both entrant-made and commercially-made prints are eligible. However, all digital manipulation must be done by the entrant.
  2. A maximum of two entries per entrant is allowed in this category.

The following file has print labels for your convenience. These labels are designed to fit on Avery 5164 labels (there is a cheaper generic version sold at Staples). The PDf image is 8.5 x 11, so you need to print with the PRINT SCALING option set to 'NONE' and then the lables will print full size and this will fit on the standard labels.
