The Greater Toronto Council of Camera Clubs is an association of photographic clubs in the Greater Toronto area of Ontario, Canada. At present the member clubs range from Hamilton and Kitchener-Waterloo in the west, and north to Newmarket, and to Oshawa in the east. The GTCCC acts as a forum for member clubs, and promotes and facilitates various events of common interest. In addition the Council publishes lists of qualified people who are prepared to act as judges in photographic competitions, and a list of speakers who will present programs for member clubs, or put on workshops and other types of program from which the member clubs may enhance their own meeting programs. A major event in the Council calendar is the organization of the annual Interclub Competition, in which member clubs compete against each other for a number of prizes and trophies in various categories.

Interclub Competition 2010

On an annual basis, we host the GTCCC Inter-Club Competition. This competition is generally held in March/April of each year and is open to individual members of our member clubs. Qualified individuals are invited to submit images 2 images max. into four different categories: Colour Prints, Mono Prints, Nature Projection, and Pictorial. All images are judged by GTCCC accredited judges and are eligible for individual awards and will contribute to overall club scores. An entry fee of $1.00/image is charged to offset judging / exhibition venue costs.

The GTCCC Interclub 2010 will be held in early 2010. Entries, which are submitted via each affiliated club’s GTCCC representative, are due by January 28, 2010 and the public presentation is scheduled for Saturday, March 20, 2010 at the Toronto Camera Club’s premises.

Eligibility

Membership is open to photographic clubs in the area served by the Council on payment of a modest fee, currently $25.00 per year.
